Happy New Year!
Mark your calendars for Monday, January 5th at 6pm for a student rally & protest at Apex High followed by the 6:30-9:00pm Board of Education Public Hearing on Reassignment. More info to follow on the Student Rally being organized by Becky Darby and Catherine Smith.
Six speakers from our community will present at the public hearing: Mark Darby, Becky Darby, Carl Ryden, Pam Taylor, Ed Green and Barbara Walsh. Additionally, Mayor Weinbrecht, Council Member Don Frantz and Council Member Gale Adcock will also speak on behalf of nodes 383.3 and 384.4.
- WRAL TV5, NBC-17, News 14 Carolina and ABC 11 will cover the event.
- Signs will be distributed in the lobby by Marcia Dale or you make your own!
- Wear your Apex gear, stand when our speakers present, hold your signs proudly!
